SOME ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:

We welcome all article submissions and are grateful for our community partners’ interest in Natural Awakenings. Articles are printed on a space-available basis, and current advertisers are given priority. Many submissions are received, and it may take several months for a submitted article to appear in print. Due to volume, we are not able to print all articles we receive.

Articles must be about an area of expertise. Articles cannot be about you, your business, or a product. If you are interested in such an article, please see our website concerning Community Spotlights (a paid article).

Articles should not express a negative opinion of any other products, services, beliefs, etc.

Natural Awakenings tries to serve as a safe "bridge" between the mainstream community and the alternative/integrative community. As such, our goal is to not stray too far in either direction off of that bridge, allowing us to reach as many people in our community as possible. Natural Awakenings welcomes spirituality but must be very careful to not present or endorse any particular religion. We are not a New Age magazine, nor are we metaphysical, and our editorial content cannot explore overtly metaphysical issues. Please contact us if your interest lies in these areas, and we will work with you to ensure your presentation remains on our "bridge" and is as inclusive as possible.
